We are looking for a seasoned professional to fill the Senior Export Control - Continuous Improvement EMEA role.Your role:This position will be pivotal in making sure that the EMEA region is "audit ready" and inmanaging internal and external Audits /Investigations and Voluntary Disclosures.The successful candidate will spearhead initiatives in this region, with the potential for replication in other regions, making them instrumental in shaping our global export control strategy. Your responsibilitiesInvestigation and Audit preparation

  • Proactively prepare for governmental and / or internal to Schneider Electric Investigations and Audits, ensuring readiness and compliance before they
  • For that purpose :
    • Develop and implement the Export Control assessment methodology taking into
consideration the EMEA regulatory requirements
  • Work in collaboration with Export Control Operations Lead and elaborate yearly assessments plans based on needs, export data, risks and geo-political events
  • Coordinate and manage the Export Control internal assessments together with Export Control Operations for the region
  • Lead the "Be Investigation & Audit Ready In the Trade Sphere" (BIARITS project) - Tool management - Investigations of Alerts
Investigations and Audits Management
  • Whenever an Investigation is identified (internally to Schneider Electric) or required by governmental EMEA authorities, serve as the primary coordinator
  • Act as the main point of contact for authorities / internal auditors during the investigation/audit, facilitating data collection, conducting interviews, and drafting responses to inquiries.
Voluntary Disclosures
  • If required, coordinate, draft, manage the Voluntary Disclosures to the authorities -
involve stakeholders such as Trade & Customs ComplianceCorrective Action Plan Management
  • Every Export Control Assessment and Investigations/Audits findings will generate a Corrective Action Plan
  • In that purpose, develop/get the Corrective Action Plan and identify the stakeholders
  • Manage / Coordinate the Corrective Actions ; ensure they are all operationalized
  • Prepare the reports (for internal recordkeeping) and/or reports to the authorities
You are:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
  • 10-15 years of experience in export control, with a strong background in process management, procedures, and auditing.
You have:
  • Demonstrated experience in managing investigations and coordinating with regulatory
authorities.
  • Proficiency in European languages, with exceptional English and legal vocabulary
  • Previous experience in a consulting role or a similar position within the industry is
advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the agility to adapt to evolving regulatory
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and execute strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel, up to 3 or 4 times per
