Role
SkillCorner is seeking an account executive to grow its Basketball business in the United States via a combination of direct sales, commercial partnerships, and other initiatives. Basketball is operated as a startup within SkillCorner. The role requires regular communication with the basketball product and technical team, while reporting directly to the management. Exact location within the US is flexible, although east coast is preferred. Travel is required. Initial focus will be on NBA teams but will likely expand to college in the future.
Responsibilities
Lead generation and conversion
Regular presentation of SkillCorner’s value proposition to key stakeholders
Delivery of consultancy and reports when required
End-to-end ownership of contract process
Account management and support
Cultivating relationships with teams at all levels
Monitoring team landscape and communicating trends
Desired Experience
Passion and knowledge for Basketball
Demonstrable basketball sales and marketing experience - Experience selling to NBA teams is a big plus but not mandatory
Data analysis skills, enthusiasm and interest
Education Background
Degree in business or performance analysis/coaching/sports science
