Responsibilities
We are looking for a V.I.E. to join the COO team of the Risk Management Division (RISQ) . RISQ's main mission is to contribute to develop SG Group business and returns through the implementation of an efficient risk management framework. The department supports all the corporate and investment banking (GBIS) activities in the Americas Region (US, Canada and Latin America). The future V.I.E. will work for the team in charge of supporting operational processes and efficiency projects across the division.
Throughout the mission the V.I.E. Operations Coordinator will:
• contribute to the comprehensive capture and reporting of operational incidents for proper oversight
• support the division's risk self-assessment exercise evaluating processes and controls effectiveness
• monitor audit findings and remediation efforts to ensure timely completion
• assist maintaining procedures and upload controls executions records
• ensure alignment, consistency, and integrity across operational risk information systems
• help coordinating efficiency focused projects by optimizing processes
Due to the VIE eligibility criteria a questionnaire will be provided. Please make sure to answer all the questions for an efficient analysis of your application.
Please note that for the missions outside the European countries, a VISA is necessary. Please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure. Otherwise, we strongly advise you to launch asap the renewal of your passport.
Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
• Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Business, Finance, Risk Management or related field
• A previous experience in the financial sector would be appreciated
Language skills:
• Fluent in English (B2-C1)
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
• Proficient/Good command of MS Office
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Analytical skills and attention to details
• Proactive and willing to take initiatives
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Canada is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
