Descriptif du poste

We are looking for a talented Senior Data Analyst / Head of Data with a strong team spirit, to join our dynamic Product Team and help drive our data-centric vision forward. This role reports to the CPO.

Position Overview

As the Senior Data Analyst / Head of Data at United Heroes, you will be the cornerstone of our data initiatives, working with the support of an intern and collaborating closely with our product & tech teams. This pivotal role encompasses four key pillars: managing product performance analytics, driving data innovation, co-creating our data vision, and owning data models management. You will be instrumental in ensuring our product team can track performance, report to executives and investors, co-construct data features, and maintain high data quality across our offerings. This position is both strategic and operational, requiring a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to be involved from end to end.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Performance Analytics

    • Manage and analyze product performance metrics.

    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for the product team, executives, and investors.

    • Provide actionable insights to drive product improvements and strategic decisions.

  2. Data Innovation

    • Collaborate with the product team to integrate data-driven features into our products.

    • Contribute to the development, delivery, and maintenance of B2B and end-user analytics.

    • Stay updated with the latest data trends and technologies to innovate and improve our data capabilities.

  3. Data Vision

    • Work closely with the Chief Product Officer (CPO) to co-build and execute the analytics vision of our offering

    • Influence and contribute to the strategic direction of United Heroes through data insights and foresight.

  4. Data Models Management Ownership

    • Construct, manage, update, and optimize various data models to ensure data quality and integrity.

    • Collaborate with the CTO on data engineering tasks and ensure seamless data flow across systems.

    • Utilize SQL, Python, and other tools to manage data pipelines and databases efficiently.

  5. Foster a data-driven culture within Sport Heroes

    • Advocate for data-driven decision-making across the organization.

    • Align stakeholders on the outcomes they want to achieve and help clarify how to measure success

    • Work closely with other departments (CSMs, tech, marketing, sales) to integrate data practices throughout the organization.


Profil recherché

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in Data Engineering, Statistics, Data Analysis, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a data management role or technical leadership in data analysis or data engineering.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in databases and programming languages (SQL, Python).

    • Expertise in data analysis tools (DBT, Mixpanel, Metabase, Looker).

  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to present data insights clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Languages: Fluent in English and French.

Technical Stack proficiency

  • Data extraction with AWS Glue

  • Data transformation and models generation with DBT

  • Pipeline and workflow management with Airflow

  • Data Warehouse with AWS Redshift database

  • Business intelligence with Metabase

  • Culture Fit - 40 minutes with stakeholders from various Teams

  • Final round - Paul-Emile, CEO - 30 minutes & Mathilde, CHRO - 30 minutes
