As a Product Owner Intern in the product team at Square Sense, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in the key aspects of our product development. Reporting to a Product Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Dev and Commercial teams, to ensure our product meets user needs and business goals. Our product includes our in-house data platform, which collects, contextualizes and processes real estate data such as financial information, physical occupancy, comfort, and energy consumption data.
Key Responsibilities: As a Product Owner Intern, you will:
Backlog Management and Prioritization
Define, refine, and maintain the product backlog with clear and actionable user stories.
Prioritize backlog items based on business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility.
Collaborate with the Dev team to ensure alignment on delivery timelines and scope.
Feature conception and specifications
Work closely with the Commercial and Data Asset Management teams teams to understand user needs and business requirements.
Work in collaboration with the Product Designer to conceptualize and prototype features
Specify features with detailed acceptance criteria.
Release Planning and Execution
Assist in planning product releases and coordinating delivery with the Dev team.
Validate and test new features to ensure they meet specifications and user expectations.
Monitor progress and provide updates to stakeholders, including Commercial teams and top management.
Enrolled in a Master’s program in business, engineering, or a related field - looking for a final-year internship
Experience in project management, product ownership, or similar roles through internships or coursework.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Strong collaboration skills, particularly in cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of project management tools (Notion) and design tool (Figma) is a plus
Interest or knowledge in real estate is a plus.
Fluent in French and English; any additional European language is a plus.
45-minute first interview with a Product Manager.
Technical interview with a case study.
