Brief description of the IR team

 

The Investor Relations team is the main contact between the company and the investment community. Our goal is to effectively communicate the company's business strategy, provide comprehensive and transparent information on financial results, and maximize investors' perception of the company. 

 

 

About the position

In a unique context of our company's development focused on the energy transition, you will have the opportunity to diversify and strengthen the investor relations team.

 

You will report to the Investor Relations Manager (with a dotted line to the VP of Investor Relations) and interact with various key internal and external stakeholders, including:

 

  • The Investor Relations team – based in London and Paris
  • Executive members of the management team
  • Finance, strategy, ESG, legal, communications, business development and operations teams worldwide
  • Sell side analysts
  • Institutional investors, including portfolio managers and buy-side analysts.

 

Missions offered:

 

Within a team of 3 people, you will be responsible for:

  • Support the Investor Relations team in the preparation of financial communication: quarterly results, preparation of investor conferences/seminars, Capital Markets Day, AGM, etc.
  • Participate in the macroeconomic analysis of the energy sector. 
  • Perform financial analysis on stock market performance and analyst reports.
  • Carry out benchmarking studies on the activity, financial performance and valuation of competitors and customers.
  • Support the development of an investor targeting tool 
    • A database of key contacts by region
    • Investor intelligence development
    • Designing an ideal IR calendar for 2025
  • Coordinating the link between ESG topics and RIs, including 
    • monitoring of new regulations, 
    • ESG investor benchmarking, 
    • monitoring the criteria of ESG rating agencies. 
  • Support the creation of an individual shareholder management unit
    • Support the realization of dedicated communication tools such as letters to investors, presentations, updating information on the website.
    • Establishment of a database of individual shareholders 
    • Participation in dedicated meetings

 

 

Profile sought:

 

We would be happy to meet you and discuss your suitability for this position. To complete this mission, you will need to meet the following requirements:

 

  • Business school student with skills in finance/economics/business development.
  • Some interest in the following areas:
  • Technip Energies' activities
  • Energy services sectors with customers and competitors
  • Economic, political and macro news 

 

  • You are fluent in French and English
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills and strong attention to detail. 
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint (including slide creativity and impact) and other MS Office programs.
  • Autonomous and eager to work in a stimulating and dynamic environment with deadlines (sense of priorities)
  • Organized, synthesizing and good communication (wide range of interlocutors)
