What you will do:

As the Head of Engineering, you will demonstrate strong ownership by taking full accountability for engineering outcomes. You'll lead engineering excellence and innovation, overseeing technical execution and strategic direction for geographically distributed teams. Reporting directly to a Senior Leader, you'll collaborate closely with Product, Design, Architecture, and Data teams.

  • Lead, Develop and Drive 4-6 Engineering Managers and a Staff Engineer across distributed teams. Ensure their professional growth and high performance.
  • Develop and execute engineering strategies focused on scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Align strategies with business goals and innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to deliver exceptional user experiences and measurable business outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning while embody and champion our core values. Promote accountability and quality within engineering teams.
  • Support transversal initiatives, enabling knowledge sharing and alignment on best practices.

Who you are:

You Must Meet These Critical Qualifications:

  • A self-motivated exceptional people leader with experience building (4+ years in a similar role) and leading high-performing teams (20+ engineers), including geographically distributed teams .
  • Technical expertise in software engineering, distributed systems, cloud architectures, and continuous delivery; skilled in developing clear, actionable strategies and roadmaps.
  • Experienced in scaling engineering teams, mentorship, hiring, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Solution-oriented leader, skilled at navigating complex technical and organizational challenges.
  • International outlook with experience in multicultural environments. Excellent English communication skills.
