Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Senior Product Owner to lead the development and delivery of a groundbreaking precision medicine solutions These solutions integrate multi-modal data, including genomics, imaging, and clinical information, to empower pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and research institutions in advancing personalized therapies and improving patient outcomes. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, the Senior Product Owner will play a pivotal role in defining product strategy, managing the product lifecycle, and ensuring the platform meets diverse stakeholder needs.
The ideal candidate brings extensive knowledge of precision medicine, expertise in multi-modal data integration, and a proven track record in product ownership or management within healthcare or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Vision
Develop and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the precision medicine.
Align product objectives with the company’s strategic goals and address the unique needs of pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and research institutions.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with the Executive Vice President and leadership team to define strategic priorities and product direction.
Act as the central point of communication between cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, regulatory, and customer-facing departments.
Customer and Market Insights
Engage with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, hospital systems, and clinical researchers, to gather insights and requirements.
Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for differentiation and drive innovation.
Product Development Leadership
Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews, ensuring efficient execution of development initiatives.
Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
Data Integration and Usability
Oversee the integration of diverse data types, such as genomics, imaging, electronic health records (EHRs), and real-world data, into a cohesive platform.
Ensure the platform delivers actionable insights through advanced analytics, AI/ML algorithms, and user-friendly interfaces tailored to end-users.
Compliance and Security
Ensure adherence to data privacy and security regulations, including HIPAA, GDPR, and other relevant compliance standards.
Collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory teams to support certifications and audits.
Performance Monitoring
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, customer satisfaction, and user adoption.
Provide regular progress updates to the Executive Vice President, highlighting achievements, challenges, and market feedback.
Qualifications
Education
Experience
7+ years of experience in product ownership or product management, with an emphasis on healthcare, bioinformatics, or data-driven platforms.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software products in a regulated or healthcare-related environment.
Skills
Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, and effective stakeholder communication.
In-depth knowledge of multi-modal data integration, including genomic, imaging, and clinical data.
Ability to translate intricate customer requirements into actionable product development strategies.
Proficiency in market research, competitive analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with precision medicine, clinical decision support systems, or pharmaceutical data platforms.
Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as FHIR, HL7, DICOM, and genomics file formats (e.g., VCF, BAM).
Understanding of AI/ML applications in healthcare, including predictive analytics, biomarker discovery, and personalized therapy optimization.
Certification in Agile or Scrum methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
