About the role 🖥
Reporting directly to the Authentication and QC Manager, you will serve as the quality and training liaison in all aspects related to Authentication and QC expertise.
Your mission is to:
Provides support to teams to ensure optimal expertise quality levels through training and coachingAct as the local representative of the central Academy team and partner with the Authentication & QC Team Leader to coordinate and contribute to the development of authentication knowledge.Collaborate with our business team on marketing events : partake in PR events (as needed) as a VC representative to educate potential clients on the Trust pillarThe position is critical to ensure Vestiaire Collective maintains superior Authentication & QC services to our Customers, building Trust with and between our Buyers / Sellers.
What you will do 👜
Performance assessment and Action plansYou continuously monitor and analyze the expertise quality of teams (KPIs and root causes)You collaborate with the Team Leader to propose and define individual and group training plans for authenticators, including initial training, ongoing training, and coachingYou are present on the ops floor, are aware of authentication expertise issues and needs, communicate them, and propose innovative solutions to your manager and the Central Team.Control, Coach & MentorYou ensure the correct application of expertise methodologies.You provide individual and group feedback on performance to authentication and quality control team, helping them to improve their performanceYou recommend to Team Leader relevant authenticators and controllers to join the pool of trainers.You serve as a mentor for experts and build their confidence.You support Team leader in assessing team performanceResearch, Train and ExpertiseYou train the pool of trainers and document authors (research method and formalization).You participate in the trainer pool, plan, prepare, and execute assigned training sessions in coordination with the Team LeaderYou study collections, research authentication tips, and formalize them.You provide operational support during peak activity periods.You will be sought after from time to time for Expert opinion regarding complex items.You are an expert / brand ambassador that attends and speaks to the trust pillar at PR events.Who you are ⭐
You demonstrate authentication expertise, confirmed by more than 2 years of recent practice, across a wide range of brands and categoriesYou have ideally 3 years of experience in a production environment (experience in textiles or e-commerce is a plus).You have a extensive knowledge and curiosity in fashion and luxury industry especially the manufacturing process and material sourcingYou demonstrate a dynamic attitude, analytical and methodical thinking.You know how to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic environment.You have excellent communication skills and a team spirit.You have great public speaking skills and feel comfortable in front of the camera.You possess strong interpersonal and human qualities; build trust.You are proactive and consistently focused on problem-solving.You have a strong sense of customer service.You have good analytical skills and a command of numbers.You read, speak, and write in EnglishYou are proficient in Excel and PowerPointWhat we offer 🎁
