About us

Our cofounder, who previously led the financial department in another company, experienced the pain around procurement processes and the lack of clarity and information. To solve this, he founded Najar in 2021.

In just a few years, we’ve grown to several millions in ARR supporting 180+ customers in France and across Europe in their procurement journey, growing the team to 60+ people (including remote employees).

Following a successful Seed funding round and a Series A of €15 million led by 13Books, Portage and Tomcat, we are focused on continuing our growth and expanding our impact in the market.

We have the ambition of being the leading procurement solution in France, and Europe. Our goal is to become the strategic partner for businesses, their Architect of Trust.

Your Role at Najar

We are looking for an In-House Lawyer to strengthen our legal function and ensure compliance with contractual, corporate, and regulatory matters. As our first dedicated legal hire, you will play a critical role in structuring and professionalizing our legal operations, supporting internal teams, and mitigating risks as we scale.

You will be responsible for handling a wide range of legal topics, including contract negotiation, data protection, compliance, and corporate governance, ensuring that Welii operates within a secure and efficient legal framework.


Profil recherché

Your Responsibilities 🎯

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

  • Provide legal support across departments (Sales, Product, Finance, HR) to facilitate business operations while ensuring regulatory alignment.

  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations, working closely with our security and IT teams.

  • Monitor regulatory changes and proactively implement necessary legal adjustments.

  • Support corporate governance, including board meeting preparations and company secretarial tasks.

  • Develop internal legal policies and training programs to enhance legal awareness across the organization.

What We’re Looking For 🔍

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate law, contract negotiation, or compliance, ideally within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.

  • Strong knowledge of contract law, data protection (GDPR), and corporate governance.

  • Ability to work autonomously and provide pragmatic legal solutions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex legal matters into actionable business advice.

  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
