The Innovation & Insights Manager plays a dual role critical to our success:
1. Core Innovation Project Lead: Drive the development of our core innovation projects from ideation to launch. By translating insights into actionable strategies, this role ensures successful execution and market introduction of consumer-centric products.
2. Insight Manager: Lead consumer deep-understanding initiatives across the full portfolio, ensuring strategic decisions are rooted in robust market and consumer insights. This includes managing studies, panels, and trend analyses to identify opportunities for growth.
This dual responsibility makes the position pivotal in shaping our portfolio strategy and delivering impactful innovations that resonate deeply with our consumers, accelerate their food transition and generate growth to sustain the business
RUN :
• Lead CORE range innovation from ideation to launch by developing consumer-focused concepts and collaborating closely with R&D, the Culinary Manager, and project teams to ensure timely, high-quality market delivery. This includes conducting robust market analysis, creating insightful concepts with local teams, building strong business cases, defining packaging objectives, setting project KPIs, and continuously challenging the team to deliver the best possible consumer experience.
• Develop and maintain quarterly insight dashboards to monitor and analyze market and consumer trends effectively.
• For each project, support teams in defining the appropriate consumer panel methodologies and KPIs, tailored to the specific objectives of the project and with an agile mindset.
BUILD:
• Market and Category Analysis: Develop robust methodologies and conduct external studies to uncover growth opportunities.
• Agile Consumer Panel Tasting Strategy: Establish a comprehensive panel tasting strategy, defining the right KPIs, action standards, and methodologies based on project types, business impact, and development stages considering our start-up environment.
• Consumer Feedback Database: Create and manage a database for consumer community feedback, ensuring insights are accessible and actionable
• Conduct an annual Growth Spaces Review, identifying strategic areas for portfolio expansion.
You have 5 years of experience in innovation/product developement/FMCG
You are passionate about food : Genuine love and passion for food with curiosity for global cuisines and food cultures
You are capable of aligning innovation with the company’s vision, brand, and market positioning, ability to balance creativity with practicality and feasibility. You are able to think outside the box and envision future trends
You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and pivoting quickly in a fast-paced environment with limited budget & structure
You have outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
You are able to take feedbacks from senior leaders, stay objective, and turn inputs into actionable improvements while keeping project goals on track
You are Fluent in French and English (it’s our internal language at La Vie!)
You will have a first video call with HR and a second interview with your future manager, Jeanne, followed by a business case!
