Your main responsibilities :
Financial reporting
Ensure compliance of financial reporting and reconciliations in monthly reporting (P&L, BS, CF, CAPEX) and quarterly reporting (supplementary schedules)
Sign off on variance analyses of P&L, BS and supplementary schedules prepared by BSC accounting team
Analysis and control of the figures to be reported (Cognos, ZBB, SCFD, BI)
Country business sign off and functional supervision for BSC back office operations (OTC, PTP, Treasury, Intercompany, General accounting)
Internal and external point of contact (“Country Controller”)
Country sign off authority for legal statutory accounts overall quality and compliance with local laws and regulation
Monthly (quarterly, year-end) closing for the Country
Preparation and communication of instructions
Coordination of the different stages of the process (contacts Business & dotted line Management of BSC accounting team)
Problem solving
Validation and approval of the manual journal entries and provisions
Liaise with various departments re the closing
Daily analysis of the financial results and undertaking corrective actions
Control services
Follow up of defined benefit plans and pensions
Review provisions on BS and reconcile in particular provisions for claims and litigations with legal tool
Ensure right shared base payments calculations in countries
Perform target bonus calculations for all countries and align with countries
Accounting for disposal/acquisition files
Assets management:
Ensure adequate systems and procedures are in place to provide controls, safeguarding of assets and the efficient execution of financial activities
Country Business support
Manage projects, e.g. segregation of duties (improve our system access manage to avoid risks of fraud / implementation of Global Chart of Accounts); LEAN process redesign; stock revaluation harmonisation; account reconciliations
Maintain relationship with local managers, BSC´s, zone finance and zone functional areas
Standardise processes and calculation methodologies cross-countries
Manage internal audit issues related to Finance:
Review/validate Finance related internal audit issues prior to issuance of audit report
Monitor Finance audit issue closure as per defined action plans
Reflect results of audit issues in Internal Control Framework and Finance Excellence Program
Manage external audit issues related to Finance:
Plan and coordinate external audit process with statutory auditors
Discuss external audit issues and findings prior to issuance of audit report, manage implementation of remediation plans
Manage a team
Management of the PD Accountant Manager
Lead the OPR cycle and target setting process.

Your profile :
With Bac +5 training, you have initial field experience in financial field
You are ready to travel to our Lille office once per a week to be in contact with our local team
You are comfortable in English both written and spoken
