Looking for a key role in a finance team of an international SAAS B2B company?
Backed by Fortino Capital PE, Addactis is a leading and growing international risk-tech SaaS B2B provider of software solutions and actuarial advisory services to the insurance industry.
As we are scaling up to the 50m€ revenue mark, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead and operate the Treasury function, in close cooperation with the Controlling function.
It is a challenging role in a complex, multi-entity & country (France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Colombia, Asia) organization with eyes set on new horizons, including M&A and geographic expansion.
You will join at a pivotal and transformational moment of the business. Being part of the Finance Leadership Team you will be the on the pulse of the organisation and able to have impact.
Your mission is multifaceted
Primary role: Senior Accountant (70-80% of time)
Month-end Financial/accounting Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements on a statutory level and provide support on a consolidated level, as to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
General Ledger Accounting : Oversee the maintenance of the local general ledgers, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes for specified legal entities.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Support and coach the team in close coordination with the Group Accounting Manager.
Project Support: Play a leading role in critical projects such as new accounting, expense and billing tool implementation, creation of shared service center for accounting and in-housing of currently outsourced local accountings.
Policy Development: Revise, formalize and implement accounting policies and internal controls procedures to ensure effective financial management & control and participate in the elevation of the Finance department to the next maturity level.
Audit Support: Support and drive yearly audit process forward in close cooperation with the Group Accounting Manager, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Secondary Role: Treasurer (20-30% of time)
Cash Management: Manage our cash flow, including monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash needs, and optimizing cash utilization. Ensure liquidity and execute bank payments, including intercompany clearing and cash pooling.
Cash Planning & Forecasting: Craft a model for predicting cash flow from clients, suppliers, payroll, taxes, investments, all feeding into a cash flow plan laying the groundwork for robust financial planning.
Optimise Cash: Take charge of our cash reserves ensuring bank relationships are nurtured and leveraged for optimal terms in Belgium, France and abroad.
Manage Investments: Manage short-term cash investments in term deposits and other financial instruments in case of cash surplus.
Manage Collections & Working Capital: Drive timely collection of customer invoices with the billing & admin teams, including developing processes & procedures with the business and installing adequate systems to do this efficiently.
Could this be you?
🎓 Education: You’ve got a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
📈 Experience: With your proven experience in Accounting and/or Treasury (at least 7 years), you are an essential contributor to an effective accounting & treasury department Your solid knowledge of accounting is indispensable. Treasury knowledge is highly appreciated.
💻 Tech Savvy: Familiar with modern financial management software you are enthusiastic about leveraging technology to enhance treasury operations.
🔍 Strategic Thinker: Your analytical and strategic planning skills help you to design comprehensive financial strategies.
💬 Effective Communicator: You have developed strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders by communicating complex financial information clearly and persuasively.

📚 Regulatory Expertise: Your deep understanding of financial regulations and markets allow you to ensure compliance and guide the company through best practices.
