Why apply for this position?

You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be a Full Stack Developer and can expect to be involved in the following:  

• The possibility of joining a European Cyber ​​Security specialist.• The opportunity to join a stimulating and demanding environment in a team whose mission is to design products and software to secure businesses, critical national infrastructures, as well as government and defence organisations against Cyber ​​threats.• Be exposed to and contribute to the development of reliable and high-performance security products and services capable of detecting, analysing and neutralising the most sophisticated cyberattacks.• Work in a very versatile position mixing development, integration, validation and security aspects.

What can you expect... 

You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be a Full Stack Developer and can expect to be involved in the following:  

• Participate in the design and creation of scalable software.• Write clean, functional code on the front- and back-end.• Ensure the quality of deliverables and validate their behaviour in a secure environment.

• Test and fix bugs or other coding issues.• Participate in the study, design and prototyping phases of developments.

Additional job activity details may include, but are not limited to;

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.

• Design client-side and server-side architecture.

• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.

• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.

• Write effective APIs.

• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.

• Write technical or end-user documentation & work with data scientists and analysts to improve software.

• Undertake interactions with customers to take into account and guide their needs.

Your development journey will also include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into this position. 

At the end of the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of Full Stack Developer.

What we are looking for...

 

To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, we ask that you demonstrate you have:

• Educated to a degree level or equivalent within a IT Development

• Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of IT Development

• Knowledge of front-end languages (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g. Angular, React, VueJS, Svelte) and back-end languages (e.g. Java, Python) would be beneficial.

• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache, Nginx) is appreciated.

• Experience in  UI/UX Design; testing (e.g test-first, TDD…); Docker and CI/CD (e.g Jenkins, GitLab) would be beneficial.

• Dynamic, rigorous, endowed with excellent interpersonal skills, passionate about your job and with a taste for service.

• Strong verbal and written communication in our business languages (French, English)

• A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation

• The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
