Job Description:
We are looking for a Security Engineer (m/f) for our Commercial Aircraft business to join our Corporate Digital Security Office based in Toulouse, France.
Corporate Digital Security Office is a transnational organisation based in France, UK, Germany and Spain, with a direct link to our global infrastructure and sites (e.g. North America, India, China, Asia …).
As a Security Engineer you will join the Airbus CERT (Computer Emergency Response ) team part of the Detection & Response department. You will be responsible for handling cybersecurity incidents and detecting cyber threats throughout the Airbus world.
As a CERT specialist, you will contribute to the following objectives:
Investigate technical cyberattacks and perform Digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) activities.
Contribute to threat hunting improvement through industrialization of intrusion detection
Participate in the architecture and development of new Detection & Response and DFIR tools
Perform Threat Intelligence on attacker groups related to aerospace and defence industry
Contribute to research and publications conducted by Airbus CERT
Represent Airbus CERT within working groups and security conferences throughout the world.
Your challenges:
In this frame, you will be involved in a large variety of tasks including:
1/ Day to day operations:
Perform malware analysis and reverse engineering
Threat hunting and TTPs discovery
Contribute to Threat Intelligence generation and dissemination
Collaboration with operational security teams company-wide
Support during significant incidents: full DFIR scope, including being part of the on-call crisis team, leading technical investigations, performing hosts forensics analyses, and reporting to management.
2/ Contribute to the industrialization of:
Malware analysis
Tooling
Network analysis
Host analysis
Detection
3/ Threat detection using system or network capabilities:
YARA & NIDS signatures
Integration of signatures into internal tools
Support for IOC searching across the enterprise
Development of custom tools
Your boarding pass:
Master's Degree in Information Technology or related discipline
Experience in threat detection or incident response
Experience in Reverse engineering
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Strong ability to work in a multinational and complex environment
English: Negotiation Level, French, German and/or Spanish is a plus
