Requirements
The Finance Transformation Manager will play a crucial role in driving our finance modernization efforts, starting with the deployment of our new ERP system and continuing with ongoing finance transformations. This position reports directly to the CFO and will be responsible for leading strategic finance initiatives, process improvements, and technology adoptions to support our fast-growing SaaS startup.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Implementation
- Lead the deployment of our new ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for the ERP implementation
- Coordinate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and ensure the ERP meets business needs
- Process Optimization
- Develop and execute project plans for finance transformation initiatives1
- Document and optimize critical workflows, capturing key business requirements and internal controls
- Implement best practices for finance function modernization
Automation and AI Adoption
- Identify opportunities for automation within finance processes
- Spearhead the adoption of AI technologies to enhance financial analysis and decision-making
- Collaborate with IT to implement and integrate new finance technologies
- Financial Systems Management
- Oversee the finance systems landscape, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Continuously evaluate and improve finance systems and infrastructure
- Mitigate risks and exposures in current system applications
Change Management
- Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies
- Provide training and support to finance team members on new systems and processes
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for finance transformation initiatives
- Prepare and present transformation status updates to executive leadership
In order to be considered for this position you must imperatively respond to the following criteria:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
- 7+ years of experience in finance roles with a strong focus on transformation and process improvement;
- Proven track record in managing large-scale finance projects, preferably including ERP implementations;
- Strong understanding of finance processes, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements;
- Experience with data analytics, automation tools, and AI applications in finance;
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment;
- Fluent in English and in French
- The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in finance transformation, capable of driving change and innovation in our rapidly growing organization. They will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our finance function, leveraging technology and best practices to support our company's growth and success.
Important: You must possess an employment status: French or Schengen area nationality or a ‘carte de séjour’ that will allow you to work from our Paris office.
