As part of our growing Sales team, you will be focusing on further developing Akur8’s footprint with Large Accounts and Mid-Market across Spain and Latin America.
Your key objective will be to identify and prospect leads to generate new pipeline, pitching the value of Akur8, leading POCs (Proof of Concept) and signing new deals in your territory.
Both independently and with the help of local sales partners, Sales Executive will leverage their previous commercial experience to close business.
This will include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities :
- As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for owning your territory and the associated quota
- Identifying new opportunities in Spain & Latam, but also exploring every segment and lines of business of your territory
- Pitching and negotiating with a variety of stakeholders (Technical Directors, Procurement, Senior Management)
- Working on and submitting proposals, as well as negotiating contracts with clients
- Building strong, long-lasting relationships with strategic prospects and clients, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Thinking out of the box, suggesting new ideas and approaches to improve our product, based on client expectations
You will be based in our Paris office. Traveling for business development events may be required in those regions.
Requirements
We are looking for a top-performer with 6+ years of experience in complex B2B sales and a strong aptitude for technology, eager to grow their knowledge in SaaS, actuarial science and machine learning. Ideal candidates have a passion for entrepreneurship, and perhaps experience working at a startup.
In order to be considered for this position you must imperatively respond to the following criteria:
- You have 6+ years of experience in complex B2B sales, as an Account Manager, Sales Executive or Customer Success Manager - an experience in a SaaS company or in the insurance space is a plus
- You are familiar with sales protocols and SaaS company processes, use of CRMs (bonus points for experience with Salesforce), Slack communication, multi-teams interactions. You have good self-management skills, you are efficient and have the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- You have a ‘hunter’ mindset, and like researching to identify potential customers, possessing the agility and adaptability required to sell a rapidly evolving product offering
- You possess the level-head required to project manage both smaller (~90K) and larger (200K - 300K) contracts, with excellent presentation skills to navigate medium to long sales cycles
- You have proven expertise in business development and a track record of mastering sales strategies for complex deep-tech SaaS products. You excel at defining tailored closing plans for each opportunity, with clear, proactive actions to drive success
- You are able to not only work individually and be autonomous, but also collaboratively with your peers and other teams (marketing, partnerships and technical teams)
- You are a Native Spanish speaker and possess excellent communication skills, whether oral, written, or non-verbal. Fluent English is mandatory, as it is the work language at Akur8.
- You are proactive, dynamic, curious, eager to learn, and action-oriented. You will need to show motivation toward achieving the sales target and demonstrate a sincere interest in Akur8, both as a company and in the solutions we offer
- In the international context of the company, any additional languages are a definite bonus
