Responsibilities:
Scientific and Technical Monitoring:
Maintain a strong focus on scientific and technical monitoring to help the unit strengthen its theoretical knowledge base related to techno-functionalities and their impact on food matrices.
Techno-Functionality Screening:
Conduct experiments using separation and extraction techniques to characterize the techno-functionalities of fractions or compounds derived from microalgae.
Characterization Techniques Development:
Participate in the optimization and implementation of techniques to characterize techno-functionalities.
Project Management
Desired Profile:
Education:
Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Food Science, Biotechnology, or Process Science.
Experience and Technical Skills:
A strong understanding of food-related techno-functionalities (physical and chemical properties, interactions with food matrices).
Proficiency in analytical techniques for identifying and quantifying bioactive compounds (chromatography, spectroscopy, etc.).
Expertise in extraction and separation techniques applied to plant-based or microalgae matrices.
Over two years of R&D experience, ideally in biotechnology or the food industry.
