Apiday is entering a phase of hyper growth and is looking for a talented Head of Engineering to take ownership of the engineering team and transform it to make it truly customer-obsessed.

You will play an instrumental role in helping position Apiday as a European leader in sustainability software, working directly with one of the co-founders, side by side with the CTO and the product and design leaders.

It’s an opportunity to structure and grow the heart of a fast-growing, impact-driven company while it transitions from startup to scale-up and aims for the $10M ARR milestone.

While the CTO will remain in charge of the architecture and technical growth of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Culture: Foster a customer-centric mindset within the engineering team to ensure alignment with Apiday’s mission and values.

  • Organization: Design and implement the best structures and processes to enhance team efficiency and collaboration.

  • Management: Mentor and develop the engineering team, nurturing talent and promoting continuous learning.

  • Recruitment: Strategically expand the team by attracting and retaining top engineering talent.

  • Communication: Ensure seamless communication and collaboration across all departments within Apiday.


Profil recherché

  • You have at least 6 years of experience in the tech industry, preferably within B2B SaaS.

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing engineering teams.

  • You have worked in organizations that truly prioritize customer satisfaction and have successfully instilled this mindset in your teams.

  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset, are straightforward, and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

  • You possess strong analytical and operational skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills in English—ideally in French too.

  • You are passionate about your field of expertise, eager to take on responsibilities, and have a keen interest in sustainability.


Déroulement des entretiens

  • Step 1 (30 min): Discuss your aspirations and profile with Pierre, who is assisting us in auditing and restructuring the team.

  • Step 2 (1h30): Review your professional experience with Clément, our CTO, and Pierre.

  • Step 3 (1h): Dive deep into specific topics with other team members, such as Ana, our product lead, and Anne-Celine, our product designer.

  • Step 4 (30 min): Final call with Charles to validate cultural fit with Apiday’s values and mindset.

  • Step 5: Reference calls with individuals who have worked with you in the past.
