Job Summary

Compliance is a key pillar of our success in the factoring environment. Until now, the Compliance function has been led by Risk and Legal Departments and the COO. As we continue to grow and expand into new markets and are adopting new regulatory frameworks, we are now structuring the Compliance function.

As the first member of this team, you will be responsible for leading, structuring the function and implementing compliance policies and procedures. Therefore, for this role, it will be essential that you have a proactive attitude and that you are comfortable with doing things by yourself.

You will directly report to the COO and co-founder and will work closely with the Risk, Legal and Ops teams. Compliance being a core function, you will have contact with all other teams including Sales, CSM, Product, Data.

As a Compliance Officer, there is potential for growth and advancement within the company, including the possibility of transitioning to the role of Head of Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Build

  • Develop and write all the Compliance policy and internal procedures

  • Design and implement KYC (Know Your Customer) flow into our product with Product and Tech team

  • Implement and ensure regulatory monitoring

Manage

  • Monitor and audit the operations to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures

  • Conduct diligence on new partners

  • Educate and train employees on compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., AML/FT, PSD2, GDPR).

Report

  • Prepare and present compliance reports to COO

  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues and incidents.


Profil recherché

Requirement

  • At least 5 years of experience in banking, fintech, consulting or related field

  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., AML/FT, PSD2, GDPR).

  • Proactive attitude and that you are comfortable with doing things by yourself

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
