As an ESG Analyst, you will report to the Head of Sustainability for Prime, and you will be part of AXA IM PRIME business unit.

 AXA IM Prime is a Private Market Enabler and Hedge Funds platform offering diversified sources of private market returns across private equity, infrastructure equity, private debt, and hedge funds. With €30 billion of alternative investments under management and a team of seasoned investment professionals committed to proactive ESG and strict risk management criteria, AXA IM Prime is committed to transparency and reliability. The company manages €5 billion of commitments annually over the next three years and has 80+ employees across three offices.

 As an ESG Analyst for Prime, your role is essential in contributing to the development and implementation of Prime's ESG strategy and value generation. This includes ESG integration in investment processes, due diligences, reporting, product design, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement ESG Strategy: Support the formulation and execution of Prime’s ESG strategy, including processes for various asset classes and integrating ESG criteria into the selection, due diligence, and performance monitoring of external asset managers.
  • Define and Monitor ESG KPIs: Assist in setting and tracking ESG key performance indicators and targets for each investment vertical, ensuring alignment with our ESG ambitions and SFDR classifications.
  • Conduct ESG Due Diligence: Perform ESG due diligences on asset management firms and portfolios, and support the execution of ESG engagement strategies with external managers.
  • Integrate ESG into Product Development: Aid in incorporating ESG factors into Prime’s product development, marketing, and reporting efforts.
  • Research and Benchmarking: Conduct research and benchmarking on ESG investment practices and pertinent ESG topics to inform and enhance our strategies and operations.

Profil recherché

Education and Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Sustainability, or a related field

Experience and Skills

  • Professional Experience: 3-5 years in an ESG role within Asset Management or a consultancy firm
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of asset management, with a strong knowledge of private markets
  • ESG Expertise: Solid understanding of ESG topics, including climate change
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Communication Skills: Proficiency in verbal and written English communication
  • Data Management: Ability to manage ESG data sets; familiarity with ESG reporting tools is a plus
