PRESENTATION OF THE CONTEXT / TEAM
Identity & Access Management Center of Excellence (IAM CoE) is part of Business & Data Product Line within Group Technology Operations in AXA Group Operations.
IAM CoE is mandated to design, implement, deploy and operate globally shared products in IAM space for:
- Employees working for AXA (I AM-Employee),
- Users/partners working for AXA business (I AM-Business),
- Customer users of AXA (I AM-Customer).
Identity & Access Management Products are part of Identity Global Products department within Group CIO division in AXA Group Operations.
The product manager we are looking for will be in charge of the entire scope of the Identity Management, including identity referential, Identity Governance and Administration products (Saviynt based) and PKI scopes.
JOB PURPOSE
In AXA, the Product Manager contributes to AXA global IT solutions development by defining the strategy of his products, and by driving design, development, and deployment of products to answer clients' expectations and managing them to meet business objectives and customers' satisfaction.
He/she also oversees the product profitability and sustainability, facilitating the
product vision, defining with the business their needs and collect feedbacks.
MISSIONS
The Product Manager:
- is instrumental in ensuring the sustainability and the cost efficiency of its products with the primary target to deliver value for the Group.
- is the "Mini-CEO" of the product. He/She has the full accountability of the product throughout the entire life cycle, including user needs and market trend analysis, marketing, communication, brand management, finance, P&L, build, transition, operations, support, continual improvement and decommissioning.
- owns the customer satisfaction and the entire lifecycle of a product applied in a specific business area: customer success tech advice, pre-sales
- must identify what processes and what architecture capabilities his product will be contributing to. He / She must federate all initiatives in a functional area in order to have the largest potential customer base for his product.
The Identity Product Manager particularly:
- Manages strategy and roadmap of the identity Products of our IAM landscape in accordance with AXA GO’s Product Management practices:
- New Global IGA platform powered by Saviynt technology
- Global PKI processing internal and external certificates lifecycle
- Progressive decommissioning of IAM legacy platforms
Steers onboarding projects by:
- Migrating current consumers of IAM (AXA entities, B2B projects, etc.) to the new strategic Products, from various legacy platforms
- Onboarding new entities which may have a low maturity level in IAM processes and organization
- Foster adoption of IAM Products by contribution to Group forums and animation of IAM Product boards
- Develop onboarding accelerators to automate or delegate onboarding for consumers
Ensures high Quality of Service, for all key domains of our IT Strategy:
- Global “Move to the cloud” and “Technical debt” strategy,
- Implement IAM roadmap according to Group CTO’s reference architectures and guidance
Continuous enforcement of our Quality of Service and resiliency, to provide our internal customers with high level of service, including:
- Monitor and improve IAM IPC (Incident Problem Change) by working closely with IAM Service Delivery Management team
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational organization and procedures (e.g., monitoring) to improve our efficiency and enable savings when relevant
Security and Data privacy by design, to ensure all AXA entities, distributed around the world, comply with the numerous regulations in place and ones to come, including:
- Contribute to all Compliance initiatives (Security, Data Privacy, Internal Control, etc.) to meet all AXA policies and Regulators expectations globally
Manages the identity team, by:
- Acting as the HR manager for all “Identity Product” employees
- Acting as AXA GO representative for all externals working in the “Identity Product” staff
- Contribute to evolutions in sourcing strategy (onshore vs offshore, internal vs external, Time & Materials vs Managed Services, global contracts, etc.)
- Develop technical, collaborative and communication skills of team members
Manages the P&L (Profit and Loss) of identity product components:
- Project/onboarding proposals approval and follow-up with IAM PMO
- BAU / recurring fees costing
- Volume collection for recurring fees
Improves and maintains communication for the identity product components via various channels:
- Institutional communication (sales deck, product catalogue etc.)
- Product Board
- Ad-hoc communication campaigns or presales meetings with entities
- IAM newsletter
- IAM homepage
- Yammer/Teams group for IAM community
Contributes to all transversal initiatives:
- Create synergies with other Product Lines
- Develop effectiveness and consistency of IT practices across Product Families
ACTIVITIES
The product manager:
- Builds and communicates the product vision with team members and through exchanges with relevant stakeholders
- Maximizes the customer and business value in the team's achievements
- Owns the backlog, the product delivery, the quality of the service and the product performance
- Prioritizes the backlog according to business and relevant stakeholder value
- Ensures the product is operated E2E in compliance with AXA standards (Project/Program, Build, Run and Continuous Improvement)
- Defines and manages the product life cycle end-to-end
- Builds the product roadmap and cascades it to relevant stakeholders
- Manages the product budget, oversees relations with services providers, monitors costing and sourcing with the help of support functions
- Sets up product governance with Entity (expectation, satisfaction)
- Develops the product promotion and marketing strategy
- Implements agile methodologies and continuous improvement processes to optimize product development and delivery
- Formalizes the Delivery Model based on product’s vision and strategy
- Ensures product is following security, compliance, data privacy guidelines
As a people manager:
- Connects teams transversally and facilitates relations with stakeholders
- Is responsible for creating an engaging, trustful and inclusive team environment which fosters well being
- Actively develops and coaches their teams through on-the-job experimenting, feedback and training
