You will work closely with your manager Nina, our Senior Communication Manager France and the rest of the Brand & Communication team.

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT): 🥇

  • You will be responsible for engagement with our French audience through copywriting and creative content, making sure the brand is relevant and appealing to our target market 
  • Having a deep understanding of Back Market's DNA, you will ensure that localized content is aligned with the brand’s overarching style, tone of voice, and other writing guidelines
  • Boost our presence, appeal and overall impact on social media: 
  • Adapt global ideas and create local content 
  • Competitive benchmarking, staying on top of latest trends, news and cultural moments to keep Back Market relevant to our french audience   
  • Write compelling and effective CRM:
  • Copywriting of tactical and editorial emails and notifications   
  • Support the localisation of our comms and marketing campaigns:
  • Transcreate and localize global copy and concepts to ensure local relevancy
  • Concept ad hoc content for local initiatives   
  • Longform editorial initiatives:
  • Write compelling articles for blogs and other publications as needed (CSR, Corporate, B2B…)  
  • UX copywriting:
  • Translate and adapt UX content (app/website copy and transactional emailing/notifications)

    • YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF: ⭐

  • You are a native French speaker and you are fluent in English
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar environment: preferably in communication, advertising or in a startup 
  • You are a team player, curious and creative, always coming up with new ideas 
  • You are social media-savvy an like tech
  • You like strategy and have a strong analytical mindset: you understand the power of consumer insight, brand tone of voice and powerful brand messaging
  • You are confident with editorial formats: know how to gather information, make a plan and synthesize info
  • You’re not afraid of managing several projects at the same time and are a bit of an allrounder
  • Knowing Canva is a plus
