This role is intrinsic to the success of Beev as a Data-Informed company where we combine insights from our data stores with the know-how of our highly driven professional team. As a Data Handler, you will take part in the design, development, and delivery of the necessary data pipelines that will allow us to achieve our goals. And beyond the pipelines, you will handle the analytics aspect delivering key dashboards and metrics necessary to the product and financial teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Cataloging: We have many data sources with different formats and  fields that we need to map & create their mesh of dependencies.

• Storage: We are aiming to have a central repository containing all of our knowledge base. Thus you will contribute to develop and maintain the Data Warehouse as a 3 layered store.

• Pipelines: Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases, all the while ensuring data quality to minimize impacts and early alerting systems for broken pipelines.

• Analytics: Work with management to prioritize business and information needs and build key metrics & KPIs along with their dashboards to fulfill our analytics needs

• Enjoy: Enjoy your time coding and setting up all of the above!

We’re looking for someone who can fiddle with data systems and find key insights.

• Diploma: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering.

• Technical Knowhow: High Interest and aptitude in data systems & tools(SQL queries, data viz frameworks or tools..), Python scripting, Data modeling..

• Analytical Curiosity: Ability to analyze existing sources and create scalable & reproductible systems.

• Proactive Problem-Solver: Identify high-level issues & work with your team to solve them.

• Communication & Story-Telling: You need to be able to easily communicate with other team members and gather their needs and challenges while also producing dashboards that are easy to read and use.

• Organization: Highly organized with the ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize to meet tight deadlines that come in working in a fast paced, dynamic startup environment.
