🗒️ About the Role:

As the Technical Lead of our “Client Onboarding” team, you’ll drive and manage the Software Engineering unit dedicated to a crucial part of bsport success by ensuring the onboarding and the migration of newly signed clients into the platform. Your team’s focus areas will include:

  • Build and maintain tools to allow bsport client’s to import their data (structure, members, invoices, passes…) and to get on-boarded as smoothly as possible.

  • Create a scalable infrastructure for our Operations team to manage custom queries from clients during their on-boarding.

  • Enable bsport new client to discover our Product, by providing an interactive experience during their signup and during their discovery of the application.

🎯 What will be your impact:

As a Technical lead, ie hands-on Engineering Manager, you will:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of Software Engineers to manage the full-lifecycles of your products (backend, front-end, infrastructure…)

  • Architect robust interfaces to migrate data into various systems managed by different teams (Invoices, Bookings, Passes, Members …)

  • Collaborate closely with key bsport business units including our Operations team and our Customer Success Management team

  • Mentor team members, nurturing their professional growth and development

Profil recherché

🌟 It would be great if:

  • You have substantial experience in any current Object-Oriented backend language (familiarity with Python and Django is a plus)

  • You have a significant experience working with relational databases at scale (familiarity with Postgres is a plus).

  • You have a significant experience working with ETL or doing large data migrations

  • You are professionally proficient in English

  • You take ownership and pride in building exceptional products

  • You’re detail-oriented, organized, and an effective communicator

  • You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and enjoy being challenged


Déroulement des entretiens

  • Call with our Talent Team - max 30 min

  • Live coding exercice, no algorithm but mostly modeling and data manipulation (preferably in python but open to your language of choice!) - 1h30 interview

  • Technical discussion : deep dive on your previous experiences and projects - 1h interview

  • System design : designing a large feature by taking into account the stack as a whole - 1h interview

  • Discussion with the CEO : short 30 min interview

We are committed to make the recruitment process as short as possible, and we typically compress it in 1 week only if you are available, after the Talent Team call.
