During the first weeks of the internship, you will be trained on the principles of carbon accounting in different sectors (intellectual services, infrastructures, industrial sector and investment funds).

You will also learn how our platform works and learn about the different projects our carbon engineers are involved in. The internship missions will be divided into two main categories: 

1. Work in collaboration with the carbon engineers to help our clients with their climate journey, which involves: 

• Computing their business’s GHG emissions: from preparing data collection questionnaires, through data processing to calculating the emissions of a company or project

• Calculating carbon emission reduction trajectories: defining emission reduction targets and building decarbonisation roadmaps.

2. Work on continuous improvement of the platform and carbon knowledge, which involves: 

• Enhancing our platform’s computation efficiency and reliability: you will update and research emissions factors, carbon footprint reports, and calculation methods 

• Modelling and research: you will contribute to our research on climate change mitigation and measurement by producing methodological notes and sector-specific research.

• You are a student of a higher education degree, from a top-tier engineering or business school

• Willingness to work for a young company committed to tackling climate change

• Strong intellectual curiosity about energy and climate issues

• You are analytical and rigorous, focused on details

• You like working in an international environment and have an excellent level of English (read, written, spoken)
