Role
As a Graphic Design Intern at Cartoonbase, you will be responsible for:
Creating a variety of graphic communication materials such as logos, brochures, posters, flyers, web banners, etc.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, for creating and editing graphic designs.
Having a knowledge of design principles such as color theory, typography, and layout.
Collaborating closely with the project management team to develop visually appealing concepts that are consistent with the brand identity.
Adhering to the client’s graphic charter and guidelines from our client to ensure visual consistency across all communication materials.
Proposing creative ideas and solutions to meet client needs and client communication goals
Ensuring the quality of graphic designs and making necessary changes based on feedback from clients and the team
Contributing to the development of visual communication strategies
Place within the organisation
Reports to the Producer and the Creative Director, works very closely with the project managers and the creative team.
Qualifications
Passionate about graphic design and visual arts
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Excellent knowledge of graphic design principles (color theory, typography, layout)
Creativity, imagination, and a sense of innovation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Rigorous, detail-oriented, and respectful of deadlines
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to adapt to different graphic styles

The recruitment process is structured in three successive rounds:
Round 1 : first step, the hiring team will review the candidates’ portfolios to assess their skills and experience
Round 2 : a 30 minutes conversation with the Producer or Creative Director to review your resume and motivations. The meeting will also give the candidate an opportunity to ask questions about Cartoonbase and to learn more about the role and the team.
