Corail Analytics is a data consulting agency founded in February 2021 by Martin Lainez and Alexandre Valentin.

Our goal is to help startups and scale-ups leverage their data ressources through different services ranging from data strategy definition to adequate data stack implementation.

Role

As part of Corail Analytics growth, we’re looking for a motivated intern developer to assist in building a data product using modern infrastructure and development tools.

This product is a key milestone in the development of our activity and will help our consultants in the fulfillment of their missions for Corail Analytics’ customers.

Here’s an overview to what you could do during this internship:

• Contribute to building and deploying the data product with technologies like Terraform and Docker.

• Define and follow best practices in code development to ensure a clean, maintainable, and efficient code through version control with Git.

• Write clear and comprehensive documentation detailing the product, setup processes, and usage instructions, ensuring ease of understanding for future users and developers.

• Participate in defining the product’s development strategy by staying up-to-date with modern data stack trends and best practices and bringing fresh ideas to improve the product’s design and implementation.

• Currently enrolled or finishing a Software Engineering oriented degree and looking for a 6-month internship.

• Hard Skills:

  • Experienced in creating APIs using Back-End programming languages/frameworks (Node.js, Django, Flask…).

  • Proficient in at least one Cloud Provider solution (GCP, AWS…).

  • Knows how to work with Version Control tools (Gitlab or Github).

  • Nice-to-have: Experienced in using Terraform as Infrastructure as Code tool.

  • Nice-to-have: Knowledgeable on CI/CD best practices.

• Soft Skills:

  • While you can work independently, you are also comfortable working with a team and openly sharing ideas and feedback.

  • You take initiative and are motivated to stay updated on industry trends, always looking for ways to improve your skills and contribute to the project.

  • You can speak and write in English, French is a plus.
