We are looking for a talented Audio-Visual Specialist to join our team. This role is central to the success of our media studio, involving the end-to-end management of content creation, from recording and editing to distribution across various platforms and formats.
Additionally, the Audio-Visual Specialist will uphold the highest standards of quality and performance by ensuring all AV equipment is expertly maintained and optimised.
As a key contributor to the Brand and Communications team, the Audio-Visual Specialist will drive impactful media projects, delivering high-quality, brand-aligned content that supports our mission of creating meaningful and memorable experiences.
Role Description :
Audio-visual planning
- Prepares and sets up equipment for a recording, with the ability to foresee the end result before editing.
- Assembles, adjusts, and operates various audio and video components, including cameras, microphones, lights, and sound mixers.
- Manages the arrangement, connection, tuning and operation of video and lighting equipment.
- Prepares teleprompters with scripts.
- Prepares and maintains standard operating procedures and policies for recording video and audio content.
Audio-visual production
- Edits content from recording to final product, including music, intros, outros, titles, grading, etc.
- Works with Brand and Communications function to ensure that all media end products are in accordance with Deloitte University EMEA brand standards.
- Suggests and monitors platforms and media distribution.
- Monitors the quality of media technology, diagnoses, and resolves problems quickly and efficiently.
- Stores and maintains the equipment and the facilities in which the equipment is housed.
- Independently operates and instructs others to operate portable and installed AV equipment (sound, lighting, projection, theatrical rigging) for events.
- Provides strong client level support to internal clients, with an ability to de-escalate and resolve technical failures.
Skills:
Previous experience: At least 2 years of experience required in recording and editing audio and video, from initial planning to final production.
- Basic foundational knowledge of educational content development.
- Solid understanding of brand guidelines, storytelling techniques, and their practical application.
- Keen attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
- A healthy interest in the developments of content creation with GenAI.
- Hands-on experience with the installation and maintenance of audio, video, and audio-visual presentation systems, including IT and network integrations.
- Proficiency in distributing media content across multiple streaming platforms and media formats.
Education and languages:
- Bachelor’s degree in media or related field, or relevant experience.
- English – fluent, French – advanced. Other languages would be an advantage.
