David Audrain, CTO, has over 25 years of experience in the software development across multiple industries: video games, avionics, mobile applications.
Prior to DESKi, David was managing Coyote's Bordeaux office and leading the iOS/Android/Automotive software development teams.
2021 sounds like the time for a new challenge for David, he joined DESKi to bring his extensive experience building mobile applications and Software Development Kits.
Aside DESKi, David sometimes goes windsurfing on the Médoc lakes.
Émilie has been a Data Scientist at DESKi since early 2018. She took her first steps in artificial intelligence during an internship at CEA. Émilie put her skills to good use and perfected them during a second internship at DESKi consisting of training a deep learning algorithm to predict a patient’s recovery from a stroke thanks to the analysis of his MRI scans. Following her engineering degree from the École Nationale Supérieure de Cognitique (ENSC), she joined the DESKi team to work on echocardiographic image analysis algorithms and much more! Émilie enjoys listening to music, reading, watching films and traveling. She loves to eat and tease her colleagues.
Bertrand is a public-health doctor and former intern at CHU of Bordeaux. He graduated from ESTP Paris in 2010 and holds a doctorate in biomechanical engineering from Arts et Métiers ParisTech. Bertrand completed his thesis (defended in 2014) in partnership with the NYU Hospital and Bordeaux CHU. In addition to this thesis, he began studying medicine in Bordeaux and obtained his internship in Public Health in 2022. Since then, he has devoted 100% of his time to DESKi.

DESKi, “learn” in Breton, is a young and innovative company, combining a solid expertise in both echography and artificial intelligence. Our vision is to unleash access to cardiac care by spreading ultrasound expertise.
After 4 years of research, we developed real-time AI-driven algorithms able to guide operators performing cardiac ultrasound exams. Deski is now building HeartFocus to empower any healthcare professional to accurately perform a cardiac ultrasound exam and support the interpretation of the acquired US images.
Having secured its financing, DESKi will start commercialization in 2024 after the attainment of FDA and CE certification.
