Join the central business team that is responsible for structuring investments, new business activities, and projects assessment for EV projects. Within this team, economics and modelling skills are required to support EV projects developments and business activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for an Economics Modeling Analyst will include the following tasks. Other duties may be assigned on a needy basis.

Carry out economic and financial modelling of DRIVECO’s projects in charging infrastructure in France and Europe:

  • In close collaboration with DRIVECO’s business expansion team, you will build or adapt business plans of investment projects to support decision making during a project development phase (standalone transactions, tenders, or asset M&A).
  • You will be responsible for the reliability and the robustness of economic modelling carried out by DRIVECO’s asset management (AM) team during the operations phase of a project.
  • You will continuously develop and enhance the business plan templates built by DRIVECO:
  • Update of the macro hypotheses (inflation, electricity prices etc.)
  • Add new ways of structuring investment projects from a financial standpoint.
  • Challenge the current modelling, pro-actively propose analyses to be performed to support decision making by senior management.


Ensure the application of DRIVECO investment policy:

  • You will perform analyses of investment projects in the bid phase for DRIVECO senior management and shareholders.
  • You will perform risk analyses in the development phase to evaluate DRIVECO’s exposure to various types of risks (traffic, electricity prices, counterparty, contract, etc.)

Amongst many future development opportunities, the role could lead to other positions within Driveco in the business teams (eg Bid), or in Finance (eg Business Planning), or in Sales.

👩‍💻 Technical Skills

  • Proven working experience (1-3 years) in modelling in an investment bank, a financial advisor, an investment fund or in the finance department of a large corporate.
  • Excellent knowledge of EXCEL and VBA.
  • Proven financial modelling skills: the candidate should be able to use and build on an existing financial model
  • Ability to operate complex and diversified assets business models
  • Good financial analysis skills: ability to communicate the results in a clear and concise manner to internal and external stakeholders (business developers, senior management, shareholders, strategy and finance advisors etc.)
  • Masters in finance from a university or a business school
  • Proficiency in English and in French. Any knowledge of Spanish, Italian or German would be a plus.
