The integration of stand-alone batteries into Electra’s charging points
deployment strategy is becoming key in order to ensure on one hand a fast roll-
out in countries with difficult grid connections, and on the other hand
competitive energy prices for our clients. In this context, we are opening up the
role of Battery Strategy Lead.
You will be part of the Energy & Public Affairs team, reporting to Arthur (Head of Energy).
Your main tasks will be:
- Define the best battery development & sourcing strategy for the coming years, at a European level (9+ countries), while codesigning and implementing economic, compliance, and procurement criteria, in link with various teams.
- Pilot and own the battery project for Electra: coordinate all teams involved in the project, manage deadlines, report progress.
- Analyze, define, and update the use case playbook of battery deployment, in link with the Energy Solutions Manager and other teams.
- Lead the various committees and meetings on the project.
- Monitor and analyze new regulations related to batteries in Europe, in link with the Public Affairs Team.
- Network and build contact with relevant stakeholders and players along the battery value chain.
The Battery Strategy Lead will have to present regular updates to the Top Management Team on main risks and opportunities related to batteries and report the progress of the battery strategy implementation.
You have minimum 7-10 years of work experience including at least 2 years of proven experience in the battery field. You have the ability to take a “holistic” technical and financial view of Electra's business. You are sensitive to current energy and environmental issues.
You are a strong team player, collaborative and have excellent cross-functional project management skills.
You have excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate with different teams and stakeholders.
An engineering background is an asset. A previous experience in a consultancy firm is a major asset. Strong experience with Business Plans needed.
You know how to work independently and are at ease with remote management.
You are eager to join a fast-growing scale up and the expanding Energy Team.
You are fluent in English. Fluency in French, German or Dutch is a strong plus.
