Born in 2021 from the desire to make cities less polluted and less noisy, Electra is helping to shift usage towards electric mobility by tackling the main obstacle of recharging. Electra is constantly innovating to facilitate the recharging of electric vehicles with a network of fast recharging hubs (15 to 30 minutes maximum) and a user experience simplified to the maximum.

Based in Paris, Lyon, Brussels, Milan, Zurich, Vienna, Madrid and Munich Electra's teams aim to deploy a network of 14,500 charging points by 2030; proud to participate in the energy transition in France and Europe. For cities without noise and pollution!

💼 Your Missions

At Electra, cybersecurity is a cornerstone of our mission. We are building a critical piece of infrastructure that thousands will rely on for their mobility needs. Ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data is essential to maintaining the trust of our users and the reliability of our services. As our very first Information Security Manager, you will be responsible for laying the foundation of our security infrastructure from scratch and you will report to Laetitia, Head of Data & Information Systems.

🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ Your Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be the first person in the security team, responsible for protecting the organization’s computer systems and networks from cyber threats. This role involves monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of Electra's data. In particular, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitor Security Systems: Regularly monitor security systems, logs, and alerts to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
  • Incident Response: Lead and manage the response to security incidents, including analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts to address identified security gaps.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments to identify and prioritize security risks to the organization.
  • Security Policies: Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations, particularly ISO 27001 and NIS2.
  • Security Awareness: Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
  • Threat Intelligence: Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and provide recommendations to improve the organization’s security posture.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the organization’s operations.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and other security-related issues for management review.

😎 Your Profile

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in information security or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic programming proficiency, including scripting languages and infrastructure as code
  • Proficiency in using security tools and technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus software.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, cloud environments and web applications.
  • Experience with incident response and forensic analysis.
  • Knowledge of IoT security.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and ethical behavior.
