👉 We are seeking a driven and talented Full-Stack Developer to join Escape and play a crucial role in shaping our platform’s future. As a member of one of our technical teams you will be responsible for building and evolving our SaaS platform, driving the innovation that will define the future of our technology.

Context

• Location: Paris (75002), 2 days remote/week

• Company: Escape – Leading AI Cybersecurity Startup

• Cofounders: CEO (Tristan Kalos) and CTO (Antoine Carossio)

• Engineering Team: 13 Engineers (including 5 Interns), 2 Technical Leads, 1 Designer

• You’ll be working in a close-knit team of 4 outstanding engineers under supervision of a technical lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Frontend Development: Implement and enhance high-performance user interfaces using Node.js, Svelte.js, ensuring they are intuitive, responsive, and aligned with design mockups.

• Backend Development: Develop and maintain robust backend systems using TypeScript, GraphQL, Prisma, and PostgreSQL, ensuring scalability and performance.

• Design Implementation: Translate design mockups into functional and aesthetically pleasing interfaces, working closely with our design team to ensure alignment.

• Codebase Ownership: Gradually take ownership of the codebase, contributing to its architecture, quality, and long-term maintainability.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver features that meet both technical and business objectives.

• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices, bringing new ideas to the team to continually improve our platform.

Experience

• 3+ year of experience: Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer, with a solid understanding of both frontend and backend technologies.

• Bilingual Proficiency: Perfectly fluent in both French and English, enabling effective communication in a bilingual environment.

• Frontend Skills: Proficiency in Node.js, Svelte (or Vue.js) for building responsive, user-friendly interfaces.

• Backend Expertise: Strong skills in TypeScript, GraphQL, Prisma, and PostgreSQL, with the ability to design and maintain scalable backend systems.

• Event-Based Systems: Strong event-based programming skills with Apache Kafka or other event-driven architectures.

• Design Implementation: Experience in translating design mockups into functional code that is both efficient and visually appealing.

• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with CI/CD practices, particularly using GitLab.

• Kubernetes: Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration.

• Code Ownership: A track record of taking responsibility for your code, ensuring it meets high standards of quality and performance.

• Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work well within a team, communicate effectively, and contribute to a positive work environment.
