Your role

The internship is part of the ESG Rating Agency of the EthiFinance Group and situated within the Research & Operations Team, which produces solicited and non-solicited ESG Ratings of European companies and supplies Second Party Opinions for green, social and sustainability or sustainability-linked bond/loan issuers. We serve customers across Europe.

During your internship you will produce forward-looking and high-quality non-solicited ESG Ratings as part of a sector analyst team.

Your tasks

Would you like to help make the financial market more sustainable? Support our team as part of a three-month internship.

• Gather data from companies’ public documentation (annual reports, CSR reports, reference documents, codes of conduct, etc.)

• Analysis of the gathered information (conversions, interpretations, comments, etc.)

• Record gathered data in evaluation tools, process private information

• Contribute to the controversy monitoring and controversial activities monitoring

• Contribute to SPOs and Solicited ESG Ratings in collaboration with senior analysts

• Creation of company profiles

• Project administrative tasks

• Bachelor degree in Political Sciences, Economics or Business Administration, Sustainability related fields or similar

• Very good knowledge and experience in the field of internet research

• Good knowledge of MS Office
  (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Motivation and enthusiasm for the topic of sustainability and sustainable finance

• Independent, responsible and binding way of working paired with efficient work structure and organisational skills

• Strong team spirit with robust communication and presentation skills

• Fluency in German and English
