The Presales Consultant serves as an important bridge between our customers and our company. You will be in charge of ensuring that our solutions are in line with customer needs. At the interface between our customers and the Project and Development teams, this role requires a curious and analytical mindset, a precise knowledge of the solutions we can tailor to empower our customers to generate value in their operations. You will evolve and become an expert in the fields of industrial operations, artificial intelligence, data and IT, to provide our customers the perfect insight into how to combine these factors for sustainable operations optimisation.
You will be a key member of the Fieldbox Presales Team, and become an expert in the fields of industrial operations, artificial intelligence, data and IT, to provide our customers the perfect insight into how to combine these factors for sustainable operations optimisation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop foremost expertise on truly applying AI in industrial operations from a process, algorithmic, workflow and business perspective,
• Go onsite and meet with customer analysts to understand the critical questions they need to answer and locate their biggest pain points,
• Create and lead training sessions to ensure that the product is meeting the needs of a range of users, and is being used widely enough to have concrete impact on our partners’ operations,
• Fully understand and clearly articulate the benefits of FieldBox.ai to customers at all levels, examples include; End-users, Administration/IT Staff, Managers and C-level Executives,
• Help devise and draft compelling proposals for our partners,
• Embed with our Software Engineering and Product Design teams to incorporate what you saw in the field into Fieldbox product offerings,
• Industry experience, incorporating and developing a point of view based on FieldBox.ai’s technologies and services.

PROFILE

You have a pioneering mindset and are looking for a challenge in a dynamic start-up working in an innovative and demanding industrial context.. You are autonomous and flexible, enjoy learning as much as doing, and know how to communicate your ideas. We are looking for talents with the following qualifications:

• 5/8+ years of full-time corporate presales, IT consulting experience (software and service sales is a plus),
• Proven track record of building complex offers that led to new business generation
• Exposure to industrial engineering and/or industrial data,
• Engineering School Master’s degree or equivalent is strongly preferred,
• Fluent in English. A third language is a plus.

We also are looking for the following attributes:

• Excellent communication skills. Ability to compellingly articulate Fieldbox’s solution offering to audiences with various backgrounds (technical & business) and seniority,
• Understanding of the open source and major cloud provider’s technical data management stacks is preferred
• Experience with overseeing the Architecture/IT building process of integrated solutions is a strong plus
• Experience with programming, scripting or statistical packages a plus (Python),
• Demonstrated ability to understand the unique business requirements of customers and to translate/present those needs into a compelling vision and roadmap for our customers,
• Tenacity, able to evolve in a challenging environment and to take a step back when necessary,
• Extraordinary ability to take on complex problems in industrial environment,
• Adaptive and introspective, willing to learn, teach, lead and follow,
• Ability to travel internationally up to 20% of the time.
