About the role

Five9s is expanding. And we’re implementing an orchestration platform like no other.

To achieve our ambition, we are offering you the opportunity to join us as Software Manager (our stack being mainly Golang, Next.js, and a lot of AWS services & dockerized apps), in our office in Paris.

Your tasks will revolve around management & programming:

1.     Managing ambitious sprints in a more-than-10-people-strong French-Moroccan team, reporting on KPI & deliverables to the CTO, and helping grow the programming skills & practices

2.     Programming in a multicultural team (in Paris and Casablanca) will occupy most of your time, and you’ll have to contribute to the global software architecture design or give your opinion about the features to be implemented.

From project management going through cloud security architecture and DevOps methodologies, you’ll work with a bunch of experts and seasoned security professionals, to contribute to the delivery of our missions worldwide.

Your missions

In a transversal team, you report to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), you work daily with the team leaders, perform programming, contribute to our tooling, CICD chain, methodologies.

Should you wish so, you might also contribute to cyberattack scenarios definition, playbook design, and overall to the automation of the detection and incident response mitigations.

In a team of enthusiastic people, you are expected to bring your own experience as well as you’ll benefit from the views of others.

Work in the Next-Gen SOC developers’ team

·       Follow an agile methology

·       Raise issues, handle clients requests, act on your tasks in a rigorous & reliable way

·       Improve Five9s’ platform maturity regarding programming standards & good practices

Contribute to Five9s’ internal cybersecurity

·       Comply with ISO 27001 requirements, and maintain a tightly secured environment

·       Strengthen the integration of security into the development lifecycle

Build on existing Five9s’ services offer

·       Benchmark new frameworks

·       Produce technical specifications and associated operating procedures

·       You will be encouraged to work on R&D projects and submit papers on an annual basis

Preferred experience

Minimum requirements

·       Excellent mindset. Self-righteousness & individualism are banished at Five9s, whereas helpfulness & humility are favored.

·       Highest motivation: You’ll be expected to give the best of yourself and work accordingly

·       5+ years as a developer and 1+ year as a team manager

Preferred requirements

·       Taste for operational security. You want to learn about cybersecurity

·       Proven track of programming experience

·       Knowledge of dockerized environments
