GitGuardian’s Legal team drives strategic growth while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management. Through close collaboration with Go-to-Market, R&D, and Finance teams, we navigate complex legal challenges, streamline processes, and facilitate business success.
In recent years, our team has achieved significant milestones: modernizing contract management processes, enhancing compliance frameworks, and fostering strategic partnerships. We have been instrumental in enabling international expansion by establishing robust legal foundations across multiple jurisdictions.
We are looking for an ambitious Legal Operations Intern who combines strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills and a pragmatic, business-oriented approach. In this role, you will work directly under the mentorship of our Legal Counsel, Anne-Sophie, while collaborating closely with Yohann, our Finance Director.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Legal and contractual support
Draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements (e.g., NDAs, supplier agreements, customer contracts). This includes working across teams to support negotiations, empower customer and supplier facing teams and ensure contracts are aligned with business objectives.
Maintain and optimize GitGuardian’s contract management database.
Regulatory and compliance support
Corporate governance
Operational support & continuous improvement
Work closely with various teams (GTM, R&D, Finance, HR) to provide legal advice and support.
Actively participate in the development and improvement of legal processes and workflows, including but not limited to standardisation of templates, updating of internal policies and procedures, improvement of automation.

Here’s what we consider essential for success in this role:
You must be able to deliver an internship agreement (“convention de stage”) for the whole duration of your internship;
A Master 2 in law (business law preferred), LL.M. from a US-accredited university welcomed;
At least 1 year of experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department on commercial matters;
Bilingual (or fluent) level in English and French;
Organizational skills: ability to work on various topics and attention to detail. You will learn from the team to slowly gain autonomy on your daily tasks;
Soft skills: creativity, curiosity, and humility are key to the role. You have an enthusiastic personality, you are willing to learn and wish to evolve in a challenging environment.
