Who we are?
HarfangLab is a cybersecurity scale-up, and we have developed an Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) software to detect and mitigate modern cyberattacks on a company's workstations and servers. Our algorithms detect abnormal behaviors and generate security alerts or block program execution.
Reaching 120 employees in 2024, HarfangLab is experiencing hypergrowth and has already achieved several significant milestones: winners of the Ministry of Defense's cyber challenge in 2019, recipients of the BPI's I-Nov competition in 2020 and EY-Numéum price of innovation in 2024.
Our clients include CAC40 industrial companies and government entities. We completed our first funding round of €5 million in 2021 and our second funding round of €25 millions in 2023, which will enable us to strengthen our teams, and to expand internationally in Europe.
Our mission is to protect businesses and government agencies from modern cybersecurity threats (cybercrime, data theft, influence) that endanger the economic health of companies and the security of the nation.
Who are you?
You’re hungry to grow a post-Series A cybersecurity scale-up with teams throughout the EU. You are as comfortable telling your manager that the status quo needs changing as you are leading your teammates toward that change.
It goes without saying you’re self-driven. You identify puzzles, then solve them with the people to the left and right of you. Your team also trusts you with hybrid work. After all, it’s the results that count.
What you will do with us?
You are responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, contributing to the company's strategic decisions and financial health. You will work closely with the CFO and other key stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Let’s dig deeper. At HarfangLab, you will:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and budgets,
- Conduct detailed financial analyses to evaluate the impact of strategic decisions,
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future performance,
- Collaborate with the investment team (C-levels) to evaluate and optimize investment performance,
- Support the audit process by preparing necessary documentation and assisting in audit activities,
- Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders, including investors,
- Contribute to the development of the business plan under the supervision of the CFO,
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, providing regular updates and addressing their concerns.
Hard Skills
- You are currently pursuing a MBA or Master (MSc/ Mastère spécialisé) degree in Finance, Strategy, Management, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, or related fields and you are based in Paris, where our headquarters are located.
- You ideally have a first experience in Finance and have strong analytical and financial modeling skills and eager to learn new skills,
- You are proficient in using financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, data analysis, etc.),
- You are fluent in English and have at least a strong professional proficiency in French.
Soft Skills
- You are eager to learn new skills,
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,
- You are a strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams,
- You can work independently and proactively, taking initiative to solve problems and improve processes.
