Job description

We’re looking for a junior QA Engineer, to help to inspect and report on the quality of our applications through the entire production cycle before they’re launched. You will use different criteria to check quality, such as functionality, security, reliablity and speed of our applications. 

Your mission is to thoroughly check materials, procedures and mechanical or electrical systems to ensure that customers get high-quality, functional products. You will run tests on various components and features in order to identify and fix technical issues. 

You will be part of the product team and work closely with the Engineering team and the Customer Success team to understand why we’re building a product and what the specific requirements are. Then, you will run a series of regression tests through all stages of production to identify potential regressions and recommend improvements.

Ultimately, you’ll ensure our final products meet our safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Gather product requirements (e.g. functionalities, speed, safety standards)

• Develop test environments and test cases for all the features of our applications

• Analyze test results, detect issues and track root causes

• Suggest fixes and improvements

• Document technical issues and solutions

• Build automated testing systems for regular checks

• Ensure our products and procedures meet industry standards (e.g. ISO)

• You are in the final years of completing your college degree 

• First experience in QA would be a plus

• Experience with Cypress (or Equivalent)

• Experience in Rest API Testing (GraphQL is a plus)

• Knowledge of quality standards and regulations is a plus

• Great troubleshooting skills

• Analytical mindset, Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus
