As Hello Tomorrow blooms, we are looking for a Business Developer who will  support our team’s sales growth in creating new business opportunities, from lead generation to closing, as well as improving the sales cycle based on a tracking of its performance.

You will be part of the Business Development team and we are looking for someone who is curious about innovation and driving positive impact, keen to help drive discussions and opportunities alongside the team leader, and who does not give up.

YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a second full-time member of the Business and Development team, you will work closely with our business units and marketing teams. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining successful relationships with prospects, generating new sales to contribute to our growth, and maximizing business reach and potential.

More precisely, reporting to our Head of Business Development you will:

1. GENERATE AND QUALIFY LEADS AND PARTICIPATE IN THE SALES CYCLE UNTIL THE CLOSING OF THE CONTRACT

  • Generate leads by leveraging all resources available and qualify them before onboarding the different heads of business units, if needed.

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop targeted business development formats such as breakfasts, webinars, etc. Also prospect our targeted personas to invite to webinars and other events.

  • Find and reach out to relevant decision-makers within target companies.

  • Help close complex and bigger offers in coordination with the Head of Business Development and/or the heads of other business units.

2. HELP IMPROVE THE SALES ACTIVITY

  • Be proactive to suggest improvements of Hello Tomorrow’s sales environment (pitch and offers, CRM, weekly meeting, new tools to add to our technical stack to prospect more efficiently etc.)

  • Support the Head of Business Development in the preparation of the weekly and monthly sales meetings to define monthly activities to reach and over achieve our targets. 

  • Liaise with other internal teams.

  • Cross-functional communications (within Ecosystem and Consulting teams)

  • Support the Head of Business Development to measure, analyze and present KPIs and key insights to improve the sales activity.

3. CONTRIBUTE TO THE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT OF OUR SERVICES

  • Continuously collect and analyze feedback from our leads and our discussions with them.

  • Share feedback with the relevant teams to help them design and improve their offers.

  • Comfortable on calls, taking excellent notes on discovery calls (with Head of Business Development), following up with prospects after the calls, helping advance opportunities in the pipeline.

  • Eventually leading discovery calls and follow up discussions, in coordination with heads of BUs.


Profil recherché

YOUR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in external-facing areas (customer success, recruiting, sales and related).

  • You have some knowledge of mailing, lead generation and targeted outreach.

  • A background in Business will help you to succeed in this job.

  • Experience working with Google Suite & MS Office is mandatory.

  • Experience in a growing startup or small company is a plus. 

YOUR SKILLS & TALENTS

  • You are bilingual in French and English, and have strong communication, listening, and writing skills. 

  • You are rigorous and process-oriented.

  • You are a quick learner, organized, proactive, and autonomous on the activities you already master.

  • You are deeply driven by the value you bring to (potential) clients and enjoy building work relationships.

  • You are passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation and/or the deep tech ecosystem and want to learn more about it. 

  • You are a team player, curious, empathetic, humble and eager to do your best to create a positive impact!

THIS JOB IS NOT FOR YOU IF

  • You are not comfortable to be in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

  • You don’t enjoy working in small teams.

  • You don’t have a valid work permit.

  • You can’t work in Paris (2 days per week on-site).
