To accompany our strong growth, Malt is hiring an Account Manager Junior to build a portfolio and manage our mid-market clients in France, especially the most promising startups and scale-ups of the French Tech 120.

 

Reporting to our Team Lead, your role will include prospecting, reactivating, and guiding our top SMB clients in order to guarantee our value proposition and generate new business.

Key responsibilities ✨

  • From a list of accounts identified as having business potential
  • From 50 identified accounts, validate the business potential of the accounts during meetings obtained through prospection (cold call, mail, LinkedIn, events).
  • Be able to present Malt and how we're going to help them meet their needs.
  • Validate the points : business potential and Malt added value.
  • Understand how the organisation works to develop the use of Malt.
  • Develop et create a portfolio of active clients within SMB accounts
  • Develop the “Malt Reflex”
  • AMs and KAMs hold a "trusted advisor" position and establish a long-term support relationship with their clients. They play a key role in bringing value to the various client stakeholders through:

  • Identifying new needs in advance, for a rapid and qualitative response in the proposal of new expert profiles
  • Conducting meetings (regular or ad-hoc) and presenting deliverables on an ongoing basis: contractual follow-up points, production of external analyses and benchmarks, optimization of the customer experience, sharing of sector analyses, sharing of freelance feedback, etc.
  • Closely monitor FrenchTech trends and utilize this information to produce effective sales plans and forecasts within top accounts
  • About you 🧑‍🚀

  • 1 to 2 years of previous sales experience ideally in SaaS platform/marketplace environment
  • Excellent listening skills and capacity to create trust-based relationships
  • Curiosity and ability to understand the short, medium, and long term needs of top B2B clients
  • Ready to succeed in a dynamic, challenging, and caring work environment 
  • Knowledge of the tech industry (languages and frameworks) is a real plus
  • French speaker with a professional level of English and at home in an international environment

  • First call with Agathe, our Talent Acquisition Manager, to better understand your background, and aspirations and answer your questions (30 minutes)
  • Interview with Matteo Le Camus, your manager, to discuss your experience and the role in more detail (60min)
  • Then, you will meet Matteo and Sebastien Cabanes (N+2) for a Business case (60min)
  • Lastly, you will meet the VP Sales or the General Manager to better understand our global vision. (30min)
