30% of global agricultural raw materials end up as wasted resources. In other words, 6% of our global carbon emissions are generated for nothing. That’s it. At Hubcycle, we are at war against that. We turn industrial waste into sexy B2B ingredients to make our food system more sober. We reinvent the industrial value chain by creating ingredients 100% made from unused resources. We purchase side-streams (byproducts) and turn them into competitive ingredients that we sell, with no compromise on quality.

Side-streams - typical examples :
Cocoa shells, Black pepper skins, deoiled / spent spices are obvious ones. But you might be curious to know how we have found coriander seeds and even saffron as a waste of some industries too. Wasting them is nonsense, and we need you to help us.

Le poste

  • Job & mission :
    You will be our Odoo ERP Manager. Our activity requires a strong and resourceful backbone and it will be your mission to shape our Odoo ERP to strengthen our processes, facilitate data collection and go way further, faster and safer than today: we need agility, preciseness and efficiency. To do so, you will have to know in depth the role of each person, each department and its connection with processes and data collection. Your obsession for business efficiency and growth will be your day to day engine to build a state of the art Hubcycle ERP.

Of course this comes with day to day support for best execution and training the team on new modules and developments.

Day to day will be more or less as follow : 

  • You will spend time with all our teams (Finance, Quality,  Product, Sourcing, Sales, Logistics…) to understand how they work and how Odoo will help them be more efficient,

  • You will provide technical support to our teams and help them to break blockers,   

  • You will develop the usage of new modules and tools in Odoo, or develop some new to fit our present and future needs: Business Lead Generations tools,  creating data matching mechanisms and any other relevant feature.

  • You will train new joining colleagues on effective ways for using Odoo and optimising their performances.  You will also maintain an optimized training level for everyone else.  

  • Obviously, you will keep yourself up to date about Odoo latest updates and features. 

  • You will make sure  our Odoo system remains efficient and user friendly.

We expect you to set & maintain a high level of efficiency from the beginning. At first we will provide clear targets to achieve. Later we will expect you, after auditing the existing, to guide us on what will have to be done to keep Odoo as our best business partner.


Profil recherché

We are looking for someone who will have both, short & long term impact. Being able to adapt to a start up is important. We still need to learn, and we will need your advice to grow. 

Fondamental : 

  • We believe that, at least 5 years handling and developing Odoo as a proper business tool is needed to succeed in this role.

  • Autonomy in creating your own roadmap.

  • Proven track record on using Odoo different bricks, in a competitive business environment, 

  • Being able to understand others needs, and offer tailor made technical solutions.

  • Strong business oriented mindset. 

  • Great communication & listening skills : balance ego, clear points, always propose a solution when spotting a problem. 

  • Fluent in French & English.

Bonus : 

  • Circular economy mindset. 

  • You have already been providing clear training and masterclasses on Odoo.

Conditions :

  • Contract : CDI

  • Starting date : ASAP.

  • Localisation : Based in Avignon (Your chance to live in Provence – France). As a fast moving start up, we can see that being here with us is the best way to share emotions & celebrate. 

  • Home office : 2 days a week maximum after the first month. 

  • Salary : 45k€ - 50 k€. Package will be fine tuned based on your experience. Incentives and bonuses based on company performances are part of it.

Déroulement des entretiens

The hiring process :  

  • First meeting : 30mins, content : Your background, experience & motivation.
    Second meeting : 60mins, content : Deep dive questions & scorecard. 

  • Third meeting : 60mins, content : Management team meeting

  • Fourth & last meeting : On site meeting with part of the team

The whole process duration is about 3-4 weeks. If you have any specific need for interviews, please let us know.
