Job description: The position covers all topics related to embedded software development, low-level communication protocols, and system optimization. You’ll be responsible for implementing and improving software solutions, optimizing communication between components, and ensuring system stability. Your work will involve network communication, protocol implementation, and performance tuning to guarantee a high level of reliability for HyLight systems.
The mission : You’ll work closely with the tech team to develop and enhance embedded systems, focusing on networking, protocol implementation, and performance improvements. This is a hands-on role where you will take full ownership of software architecture and development, ensuring seamless integration of all communication systems. The HyLight team is expanding with new challenges, including steerable drones, advanced networking solutions, and mission-critical software improvements.

Profile required:
Technical skills required :
Engineering background or equivalent, with a passion for system programming.
C++ and C (at least 2 years of experience).
Experience working with low-level communication protocols (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, RS485) at the processor register level.
Experience in network programming and system communication.
Strong understanding of Linux system internals, including driver development.
Hands-on experience with performance optimization and debugging tools.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Knowledge of cybersecurity in embedded systems.
Experience with distributed systems and cloud integration is a plus.
Ability to analyze and optimize software for efficiency and reliability.
Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in tackling technical challenges.
