Remote policy
We are a remote-first organization. This means that we reviewed all our internal processes to guarantee that we can work asynchronously and from wherever we feel the best. It doesn't mean you can't go to the office if this is important for you! We have a beautiful, spacious office in the center of Paris and offer coworking spaces for those who need them.
Today, 65% of our employees work full time from home, and therest work hybridly between our offices and remote.
Being comfortable with this type of environment and valuing is key.
To make sure our remote team never feels alone, our Office Manager organizes many internal events:

I’ve been at Inato for three years, working remotely for more than a year (since the first lockdown). I’m very grateful that Inato trusts us and lets us work from home. That allowed me to save my time on transportation and use it for more fulfilling activities. It also allowed me to move around freely once the lockdown was over: I spent ten months in Fontainebleau, some weeks here and there in France, and even two months in Singapore! Thanks to the many tools put in place to communicate together (like Slack and Notion, Zoom for daily meetings, or Tuple to pair program with other developers), it’s almost as if I was at the office. Of course, it’s not the same, but it gives me a freedom I enjoy and want to keep.
Moreover, events are organized to spend time face to face: for instance, something is planned every quarter for the engineering team and an offsite is organized every year for the whole company to spend some valuable time together!

Office
We have an office in the 9th district of Paris. It’s composed of a large, open office area with additional phone booth-style independent work spaces and meeting rooms.
Every day, hybrid employees go there and enjoy the unbelievable view of le Sacré-Coeur and the classic Paris rooftops. Also, during the summer, they use our terrace for lunch, drinks, or meetings.
Free snacks and drinks are always available in our office. Additionally, we have showers available for any gym-goers!
