Responsibilities:

We are looking for a VP Finance to manage, plan, and optimize the financial operations of inbolt. You will ensure the financial health and stability of the company and report directly to Rudy, our CEO.

Your key duties will include:

Financial and Fiscal Management

  • Accounting Management: Ensure the reliability of annual, quarterly, and monthly accounts, oversee the establishment and consolidation of financial statements, and ensure compliance with procedures and accounting standards. Ability to bring accounting in-house: We anticipate internalizing this function within 6-12 months as we grow.

  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor liquidity, manage payments, plan short, medium, and long-term cash needs and budgets, define financing policies, and optimize financing, investments, and tax opportunities.

  • Management Control: Establish annual budgets and reforecasts, monitor reporting, perform economic analyses of financial statements and ad hoc, and carry out strategic and operational forecasts.

  • Stock Management & Working Capital: Implement and manage stock control systems, optimize stock levels, and manage the working capital requirements to ensure smooth operations.

  • Audit Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors during their annual and ad hoc reviews.

  • Tax Compliance: Handle all required tax declarations for entities in France and abroad.

  • Project Funding Management: Track collaborative projects and ensure their payment by relevant authorities.

  • R&D Tax Credit Management: Oversee procedures and necessary declarations for collecting R&D tax credits and their international equivalents.

  • Financial Communications: Design and draft financial communications for shareholders, investors, and financial intermediaries.

Administrative and Legal Management

  • Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to current legal and regulatory frameworks.

  • Regulatory Monitoring: Keep abreast of legal, regulatory, and economic developments in the sector (financial, fiscal, social, environmental standards).

  • Contract Management: Oversee contracts with insurers, service providers, and subcontractors.

  • External Relations: Manage relationships and negotiate with external partners, including banks, auditors, professional organizations, and certain suppliers.

  • Board and General Assembly Participation: Assist in organizing board meetings and general assemblies, and manage strategic dossiers such as fundraising.

International Operations

  • US and International Development: The role includes overseeing our international operations, particularly in the US and Japan, with potential for operational travel and managing our foreign subsidiary.

Profil recherché

Required Skills

  • Strong background in finance and experience with financial management in a technology company (Series A+ w. international investors)

  • Proven experience as a VP Finance or similar leadership role.

  • Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in finance.

Preferred Qualities

  • Strong team spirit and collaboration skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Enthusiastic, hands-on approach.

  • Experience with fundraising and investor relations in a start-up environment.
