Languages: Fluency in French and English is required. Proficiency in Arabic is essential.
Operations:
Under the Associate Director, oversee the successful implementation of MEA-wide incubator projects, with a strong focus on North Africa.
Coordinate and support your team to achieve programmatic targets effectively.
Collect, analyze, and structure performance data from ongoing programs, providing actionable insights to your manager.
Collaborate with the Associate Director to implement MEA-wide programs.
Ensure sound financial management of projects, including budget monitoring, reporting, and financial insights for stakeholders.
People Management:
Recruit, onboard, and manage your teams.
Identify staffing needs for both new and existing projects, ensuring alignment with allocated budgets.
Define roles and responsibilities, create job descriptions, and oversee recruitment processes.
Set clear objectives, timelines, and responsibilities for all team members using the OKR framework.
Track and manage team performance against key indicators.
Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities for team members.
Growth & Strategy:
Identify market gaps and areas where INCO Entrepreneurs can add value to African and Middle Eastern ecosystems.
Work closely with the Partnerships team to engage with funders and partners on program-related opportunities.
Support the transition from project proposals to on-the-ground implementation in the MEA region.
Basic Qualifications:
6-10 years of experience in project and program management.
Strong operational and management skills, with experience leading multi-site and international teams.
Solid understanding of MEA’s entrepreneurship ecosystems, including investors, business support organizations, and public institutions.
Proven network of relationships with local non-profits, institutions, and ecosystem stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Passion for innovation and social impact—at INCO, we embrace the mindset of a tech startup within an NGO framework.
Ability to navigate diverse international environments and build strong relationships across a broad spectrum of stakeholders, from grassroots organizations to C-level executives.
Hands-on approach: willingness to dive into operations to ensure programmatic success.
Ability to work remotely while maintaining strong collaboration through structured and transparent reporting.
Proficiency in productivity tools (Google Suite, Notion, Slack, Airtable, etc.).
