Your Mission:
As our VP of Sales in France, you will help us unlock the French market’s potential for our 3 mid-market HR Tech products. You will report directly to our General Manager for France and will be in charge of building a scalable sales process to fuel Tellent’s growth in France. We are looking for someone with 10 years of experience in B2B SaaS, preferably with experiences in HR Tech, and with at least 5 years managing a team. You can expect a high degree of autonomy in your position and you will use your expertise to build your own sales team and strategy on the French market.
About the team:
We are a team of 6 Go-To-Market leaders running the French market (Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Customer Experience, GTM Strategy and General Manager) and we are looking for our next colleague to join the team in our Paris office. Our company goal is to help small and medium sized companies unleash the power of their talent in 3 core markets: France, Germany and the Netherlands. As the French Go-To-Market leadership team, our goal is to keep our high growth pace and triple our market’s revenue in the next 3 years.
Your 12-month journey:
During the first 3 months: Get to know your team and map / assess skills & competencies, learn about our product lines and their business, get a grip on our pipeline and overall New Business Situation. Make a gap analysis and understand where we need to act, the plan is ready. You understand our products and can help AEs where needed. You have started delivering on your plan, potentially made changes to the team setup and/or team members, and we see some core metrics improve (either ARR, pipeline conversion, pipeline generation or win rate). You can confidently jump in calls when necessary as you now understand our products well and could sell them yourself.
Within 6 months: We are on track with growth and hitting our objectives, the team is held to a high standard and efficiency is going up (ARR per AE + AEs above 80% quota + New Business ARR in France), there is a high sense of motivation in the team (confirmed in employee NPS results).
After 1 year: We are a high performance team and are now at above our planned ARR per AE per year, the team is energized, efficient, motivated and we are hitting our yearly target, with confidence to keep on achieving more.
What you’ll be doing:
Weekly sales team meeting
Individual 1:1s with each AE and SE on a weekly basis
Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly sales forecasts
Ensure sales team is trained and organised in the best way possible to achieve goals
Ensure that the sales team respects processes and keeps their CRM up to date
Ensure the Sales team make optimal use of the Sales Engineer
Report to FR GM on numbers and sales performance
Ensure the Sales team is well connected to the Marketing, Partnerships and CX org
Report on sales performance to C-level in monthly forecast calls and quarterly business reviews
What you’ll bring to the team:
10 years in B2B SaaS Sales
At least 5 years in SaaS Sales Leadership
Fluent in English (mandatory to report results to C-level in global forecast meetings and quarterly business reviews)
Experience in HR Tech: knowledgeable about ATS and/or HRIS landscape in France
Based in Paris region
