As a credit analyst at Karmen, you will have the opportunity to grow the Karmen portfolio with your own opinion on each deal. As a credit analyst, your role will be key in the development of Karmen’s credit strategy and processes.

Directly in front of Karmen’s founders during the credit committee, you will have the unique opportunity to explain and debate your decision. To do so, you will be directly in contact with the customer (CFOs, CEO, advisors) to collect information needed for the analysis.
In addition, as you are working in FinTech, you will be involved in the improvement of Karmen’s risk evaluation model, customer journey, and product. Meaning that you will frequently work with the tech, product, and data departments.
Day-to-day at Karmen:
Receiving deals from Karmen’s sales team ;
Analyzing the transactions and finding the best financing solution for the company ;
Discussing with the management to understand the business model and management’s strategy ;
Assessing risks and writing full credit reports for the credit committee ;
Fulfill credit committee expectations and customer interests ;
Negotiating terms with the customer ;
Presenting the offer ;
Improving Karmen’s products and risk evaluation
Improving the overall credit process, working with the tech, data, and product team
You will work daily with Antoine, Credit Chief Officer.
You will work with the whole credit team to challenge your decision and how to improve Karmen.
You will work with the Sales team, Data and Tech team.
You will have contact with prospects and clients.
Bac +4/5 with a specialty in Corporate Finance
At least one conclusive experience in M&A, VCs, Credit, FinTech (corporate finance specialization), or advisory.
French (written & spoken) + English (written & reading) mandatory
Pack Office (VBA or Python would be a plus)
Strong financials analysis mindset:
Balance sheet and P&L analysis
Create different scenarios based on the management business plan
Very good understanding of accounting
Flows analysis
Negotiation skills
Good relationship with customers
Impartial and pragmatic
