Senior Backend Developer KAROS

Are you passionate about backend development and data?
Join Karos to help optimize our technical platform, supporting the growth of carpooling and our expansion into new regions and countries.

Your mission will be twofold:

• Ensure a highly reliable carpooling service that remains fast and responsive, even under increasing usage volumes.

• Contribute to feature development to enhance the experience for both users and our B2B clients, including enterprises and local authorities.

You will be part of the Mobile team, working on the core components of our system in close collaboration with the Web&Data and Data Science teams. You’ll develop new backend features for our Mobile and Web products while improving existing codebases in terms of structure and performance. You’ll work alongside three other senior backend developers to tackle these challenges.

In all your work, you’ll keep a strong focus on performance and quality.

• You are autonomous and enjoy working on diverse projects.

• You have experience developing in complex, existing systems. You can dive into third-party code, analyze it, and quickly understand how it works.

• You are motivated by technical challenges but also care deeply about product impact. You aim to ensure that your work meets the expectations of other teams and, most importantly, the needs of our users.
